As a Realtor coming into the industry I was met with quite a few issues. Mainly, the clients who approached me to assist them purchase a home couldn't qualify and were scared to try. On average, out of 20 individuals, about 18 just weren't ready. I had to be creative and come up with a solution. After a few failed attempts to refer my clients to "credit specialist" I decided something needed to be done! I buried my nose in the Fair Credit Consumer Reporting Act, debt collector laws, & taught myself how credit scores are calculated.
